OmG... After a long drive from Dallas, Texas back home I was hungry. Wanted some authentic Mexican food. I was concern I was not going to find traditional Mexican food (side note I am Mexican and I am use to home cook meals). Google for restaurants and came across La Cocina Mexicana. I was a bit hesitant to come do to the fact it may not be transitional. Boy I was wrong. Yes salsa, from chips and salsa is not that traditional l, but I understand why. We order our food and asked to be spicy, they didn't disappoint us. Fajitas Estilo Cancún are delicious and the tortillas are so delicious. Courtney was our server. She was welcoming and very friendly. Every time I pass by I would stop by.
The food was wonderful and the service was great. So much food! There was enough for the meal, plus leftovers to take home for another meal. You definitely get your money's worth.
Worst mexican food experience! Service and food was a complete disappointment and was overcharged!!
Went there Wednesday night. Service very slow (AGAIN) and entree so overcooked much of it wasn't edible. They probably had to sandblast the pan/plate to get the burnt cheese off of it. We used to enjoy eating here but the last several months it hasn't been good at all. Probably the last time.
Inside is ok but food is very good. Went for lunch so not very busy. Good sized menu.
